Sometimes, lion cubs, it is better to take things slowly and get them right, than rush in and make a big mistake.
Frog is lying out in the sun when he is approached by a beautiful impala. Upon being asked if he is all right, he replies that his father has cursed him so that he cannot leave until an animal happens upon him; if she accepts his marriage proposal, they will live happily together, but if not, she will die. The impala quickly falls for his tricks and takes him to see her father about getting married.
While Frog talks to her parents, the impala sits beneath a tree, where she is approached by a love-professing chameleon. Despite being moved by his profession of love, she leaves the decision up to her parents. As the choice is made, Frog taunts the chameleon, who responds in kind, until the impala's father interrupts, proclaiming that the potential suitors must each make a feast for his daughter. Eager to win her heart, both contenders scramble about to do so, with Frog moving so quickly that much of his food falls out of their baskets along the way. The chameleon, however, is slow and careful, and arrives before the impalas with his food intact. Seeing much promise in the chameleon's feast, the impala's father gives his daughter to the chameleon in marriage.
