After Simba pounced on Zazu, the hornbill lay, winded, on the ground. Suddenly, the mole emerged from beneath him and informed him that there was news from the underground. The mole then reported to Zazu that hyenas were in the Pride Lands, and Zazu in turn informed Mufasa of the situation.[1]

Physical appearance[]

The mole is moderately sized. He has brown fur, with a pale underbelly, grayish-brown paws, and narrow black eyes.[1]
