Each issue of the magazine consists of 36 pages of adventure stories that feature Kion, the son of Simba and Nala, and his friends as they protect the Pride Lands and defend the Circle of Life.[1]
The magazine includes several activities and resources for children, including "puzzles, crafts, posters, competitions, a cover-gift, and an interactive sticker sheet which can be used with the activities inside the magazine."[1]
The magazine aims to showcase the importance of friendship and working together, and encourages imaginative play.[1]
