Ha, ha! Look what a long tail he has!
―A monkey on Simba[src]

The Funny Monkey is a German comic inspired by The Lion King. It was published by Ehapa Verlag in January 1997.

Synopsis[]

Simba hears some monkeys teasing him for how long his tail is. Simba starts laughing too, making the monkey feel hurt and leave. Simba speaks with Mufasa about him saying how funny the monkey looked, and Mufasa says Simba should apologize. Simba decides that's best and goes to do it. Along the way, he falls into a river and nearly goes over a waterfall. He is saved by the monkey with the long tail. Soon, the monkey tells the others about it, with one monkey responding, "Honestly, I want a tail like that."
