|“||Simba's Uncle: You remember what we said?|
Simba's Aunt: Yes, that we wanted to be proud of Simba!
Simba's aunt only appears twice throughout the story, both times sitting serenely beside her mate as she nurses their two cubs. After Simba's unusual choir performance, Simba's aunt and her mate recount how they had hoped to be proud of Simba.
Simba's aunt is almost identical to Sarabi in both build and coloration. Like Sarabi, she has a heavy build with a thin face and a sleek pelt. Her muzzle is long, though her chin is scruffy. Like Sarabi, she sports ear rims. She has a cream-colored pelt, though her muzzle, paws, and underbelly are all paler in contrast. Her eyes are reddish-brown, like Sarabi's, and she appears to have passed down most of her traits to one of her sons, who shares her varying fur colors.
Simba's aunt's personality is unknown.
- It is likely that Simba's aunt is Sarabi's sister and Mtoto's mother, as Sarabi has one confirmed sibling.
