"Shake Your Djibouti" is an episode from The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa.

Timon tries to whip Simba into shape when a 40-foot tall monster is on the loose.

PlotEdit

"Shake Your Djibouti" begins by introducing Timon, a meerkat, Pumbaa, a warthog, and Simba, a lion. The episode starts by introducing Dr. Happy's lab. Happy Dog tries to tell Dr. Happy that a monster escaped and Dr. Happy tells his dog that they'll find the monster after he's done sleeping. The monster escaping from Dr. Happy's lab is all in the newspaper.

Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba are sleeping. Then a fire alarm rings and Timon and Pumbaa, wearing yellow hard hats, quickly get on a tree branch. Timon tries to get Simba to wake up, but Simba doesn't, which makes the meerkat angry. The branch breaks and Timon wakes Simba up. Timon tells Simba that he has to protect them from a sac of potatoes which they are pretending is the monster. Simba says that there is nothing to worry about, but Timon wants the lion to practice protecting him and Pumbaa.

First, Timon makes Simba sleep while Pumbaa pretends to be the monster. Pumbaa has trouble waking up Simba and with the help of Timon, he puts bombs around the lion. The bomb explodes but still doesn't wake Simba up. Simba shows Timon and Pumbaa that he was wearing earplugs.

Then, Timon makes Simba try to scare Pumbaa with his big roar. But Pumbaa, is not afraid of him and it turns out, he's wearing Simba's earplugs, which makes Timon really angry. Then, Timon makes Simba attack Pumbaa, who is lying on a target with his hooves tied up. Simba goes to Pumbaa to attack him, but fails when he's now the one lying on the target with his paws tied up. Timon tells Simba that he "stinks as a lion", which makes Simba feel guilty and walk away.

Timon gets an idea. He makes Pumbaa dress like the monster by putting a fake nose/glasses/moustache on the warthog's snout, a chicken on his head, and puts the warthog on two long sticks. Timon sees Simba lying down and then the monster shows up. Pumbaa shows up and asks Timon "Who's your new friend?" and Timon tells the warthog that it's him. Then, the two realize that it's the monster that escaped from Dr. Happy's lab and quickly run to Simba to attack the monster.

Since Timon told Simba that he stinks as a lion, Simba doesn't want to attack the monster at first. Then the lion sees the monster and fights him. Timon and Pumbaa see what's happening and run to a tree branch. The two then think the monster defeated Simba, but then they see that Simba is okay. Simba tells Timon and Pumbaa that the monster is not evil, he was just lonely and that the three can help him have a Hakuna Matata lifestyle.

It's nighttime, and Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, and the monster walk on a log singing Hakuna Matata. The monster accidentally breaks the log and he, Simba, Pumbaa, and Timon all fall down.
