"Rumble in the Jungle" is an episode from The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa.

SynopsisEdit

Timon and Pumbaa have a bitter argument, and Rafiki tries to make them resolve their differences. When nothing works, Rafiki finally tells them to fight it out.

PlotEdit

"Rumble in the Jungle" begins by introducing Timon, a meerkat, Pumbaa, a warthog, and Rafiki, a mandrill. The episode starts with Timon and Pumbaa arguing. When the two get ready to fight, Rafiki quickly stops them. The mandrill is going to make the two be friends again.

Rafiki, Timon, and Pumbaa are at Rafiki's tree. Rafiki makes the two draw pictures of each other. When they're done, Rafiki looks at Pumbaa's drawing of Timon, which is really good. However, when Rafiki looks at Timon's drawing of Pumbaa, the drawing has insults of the warthog. Pumbaa gets angry about that and ruins his nice drawing by writing "kick me" on Timon's face. Timon and Pumbaa then fight and Rafiki stops them by hitting them on the head with his stick.

Rafiki makes Timon and Pumbaa's head made of fruits and puts Pumbaa's head on Timon and Timon's head on Pumbaa. When Timon imitates Pumbaa, he runs into a crocodile. While the crocodile attacks the meerkat, Pumbaa imitates Timon.

Rafiki takes Timon and Pumbaa at a voodoo doll place. Timon takes a voodoo doll donkey and Pumbaa takes a voodoo doll snake. Rafiki tells the two to do what they would do to each other, then Timon and Pumbaa attack the voodoo dolls. Then, Rafiki tries hypnosis. Timon and Pumbaa cry like little kids and tell Rafiki "I hate him." Rafiki hypnotizes the two again and the two are dressed in 1700s clothes.

Rafiki tries one more thing to make Timon and Pumbaa make up. He tells the two to hug each other, but Timon and Pumbaa turn into sumo wrestlers and fight. Rafiki gives up and tells Timon and Pumbaa to keep fighting.

Timon and Pumbaa are at a fighting stadium, with Zazu ringing the bell with a mallet. After all the fights, Timon and Pumbaa get tired. Finally, the two make up and wander around the jungle, while Rafiki is on a tree laughing.
