The Lion King: Six New Adventures

How True, Zazu?

But, Mufasa, that could be dangerous.
—Pudini warns Mufasa

Pudini is first seen overhearing Cheka's plans to trick Zazu into getting in trouble with Mufasa. Though she plans to warn her own children about the dangers of lying, she is distracted by a bug and forgets to deliver the warning.

She is later seen during the army ant attack after being asked to help and warns Mufasa that moving rocks on Zulu Falls could be dangerous. Despite this, she pitches in her fair share of work and ends up saving the Pride Lands from certain doom.

Trivia

  • It is presumed that Pudini is Mayai and Pamba's mother, for she has two unnamed children, and Mayai and Pamba are referred to as "the ostrich babies."
