Enjoy what you have, lion cubs, and don't complain – you'll only make yourselves miserable.
A particularly large and brutish fish named Big Fish is arrogant and haughty, prone to interrupting the games of the smaller fish in order to make himself seem more important. During one such interruption, an older fish challenges Big Fish to go to the river where all the larger fish swim. Seeing the sense in this, Big Fish heeds the old one's advice and is swept into the river during a storm.
Once there, Big Fish is bullied by larger fish and realizes how much his bullying must have hurt the smaller fish. No sooner has he realized this when he is attacked by an enormous, evil-looking fish and only manages to escape when a passing boat provides a distraction. Once to safety, Big Fish realizes how much he misses his old pond and swims against the current to return home. Having learned his lesson, Big Fish never again bothers the smaller fish and works hard to respect the words of his elders.
