―Mosi, after being abducted by a leopard[src]

Mosi is a male mandrill. He is a member of Jelani's troop.

When Jelani became the new leader of Mosi's troop, he proved to be lazy and uncaring, and let his troop suffer as their home of Grass Walls deteriorated. However, when Rafiki returned to the troop, he led them on a migration to a new home in a lush jungle.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Mosi was born to Dalila. He and his mother lived with their troop in Grass Walls.[1]

Move to the jungle[]

When Rafiki arrived in Grass Walls, he encountered Dalila, who was caring for Mosi. Rafiki demanded to see Jelani, and Dalila led him there, with Mosi clinging to her stomach.

Later, when the mandrills were on a journey to find a new home, Mosi was abducted by a leopard. This reminded Simba of his own son back home in the Pride Lands, and so he raced to Mosi's rescue. Afterward, he returned the infant to a distressed Dalila.

Eventually, Mosi and his troop found and took up residence in a jungle.[1]

Physical appearance[]

Mosi is a small mandrill with skinny limbs and a stumpy tail. Since he is not fully grown yet, he has no mane or goatee. His fur is dark gray, while his ears, feet, hands, and muzzle are sandy-brown. He has dark, almost black fur on his wrists and ankles, and his eyes are black.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Mosi is often scared and timid. Thus, he relies heavily on his mother.[1]
