Overview
"Kings of the Past" was initially released under the title "Under The Stars - Rafiki" on the complete film score. However, the album was retracted after one day. On June 24, 2014, The Legacy Collection: The Lion King was released, with "Under The Stars - Rafiki" having been remixed and titled "Kings of the Past".
Use
"Kings of the Past" can be heard from when Simba talks under the stars with Timon and Pumbaa to Rafiki's discovery that Simba is still alive.
