John Oliver is an English actor, comedian, political commentator, producer, television host, and writer. He voiced Zazu in the 2019 remake of The Lion King.
Biography[]
Oliver is known for his work as a comedian and television host. He contributed to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 2006 to 2013, serving as its senior British correspondent. Oliver co-hosted the satirical comedy podcast The Bugle, as well as John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central from 2010 to 2013. He has also acted on television, most notably as Ian Duncan on the NBC sitcom Community.
Oliver has been the host of the HBO series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver since 2014. For his work on this series, Oliver has won six Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.
