Early life[]
Grandmother Elephant lived within or close by the jungle.[1]
Healing Simba[]
After Simba, the self-exiled prince of the Pride Lands, was injured by a porcupine, Esme and her mother agreed to take the cub to Grandmother Elephant. After three days of traveling, the herd reached Grandmother Elephant, who used roots to smear over Simba's wounds and big leaves to cover him. A few hours later, Simba awoke, and his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, rejoiced.[1]

Grandmother Elephant has a light gray hide and long white tusks.[1]

Grandmother Elephant is an experienced healer. She has a soft, low voice and speaks kindly to Simba when he arrives.[1]
