Ford Riley is a lyricist, producer, and screenwriter who produced The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar. He is the producer of the television show The Lion Guard.

Biography

Riley graduated from Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied film and theater. After a brief study in Prague, he returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh, where he worked for the Pittsburgh Public Theater.

Riley later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began working for Disney, starting with The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa. After pitching the company three story ideas for the series, he has been writing for animation ever since.[1]

Riley is perhaps best known for creating the Disney Junior television show Special Agent Oso, which got nominated for an Emmy Award.[2] He also produced Disney's The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar and produces its accompanying television show, The Lion Guard. He made a cameo in the film as the voice of Big Baboon.

Personal Life

Riley has a son who is autistic.[3]
