- Different variations of the song are frequently heard throughout The Lion King, such as:
- Towards the end of "Under the Stars."
- When Simba runs across the desert.
- When Simba becomes King.
- The beginning of the end credits.
- The song can also be heard in the stage musical during the "Grasslands Chant," as well as the finale song, "King of Pride Rock."
- Another variation of the song is heard in The Lion King 1½, when Pumbaa is running across the desert, parodying Simba's run in the original film.
