Andrew Collins is an animator whose contributions to animation have included several Disney leading or title characters, such as Kovu from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

Biography[]

Collins first started pursuing his dream to be an animator at Meadowbank TAFE, where he studied to be an art major. With the conclusion of school, Collins went on to work for Hanna-Barbera, animating television shows such as Pound Puppies, Snorks, and Teen Wolf. In 1989, he was employed by Disney, but he finished his work at Disney in 2006, moving on to found his own animation company, Blue Wren Studios, with other former animators from Disney.
